Great alternative!

I've been drinking mushroom coffee for about a year and was hesitant to try a different brand. But I loved that POW is a small business, and more affordable. I have not had any difficulty with the switch. Wonder Coffee has a pleasant taste which is very slight, so when using any kind of flavored creamer that is what prevails. It has no residue after mixing and no earthy or sour after taste. I've been making it using almond milk and a splash of oat creamer(Caramel or Cinnamon flavors have paired well) it froths extremely well. I have had a continuous benefit from drinking mushroom coffee over regular, POWs Wonder Coffee has maintained those benefits for me. My energy is longer lasting than with regular coffee, and more stable, no sudden spike or drop off. The physical aspects of my anxiety are not made worse by drinking Wonder Coffee, I do not get shakey or nauseous like I would after a regular cup of coffee. I do feel I focus better, with improved mental clarity, when I have a cup of Wonder Coffee vs nothing. I absolutely would recommend this brand, as they make information about their ingredients(amounts and types) readily available, and the price is more affordable.

Very gently sweetened, you still get that matcha edge but its smooth and creamy. I don't add anything to it, but have enjoyed it hot and iced, both delicious!

The primary taste is of a chocolatey, earthy, roasted coffee. There is a subtle delicious creaminess.

NO, It does NOT taste like mushrooms :)

Functional mushrooms are mushrooms which are used for therapeutic and preventative medicine, and have been used that way for thousands of years.

Functional mushrooms are rich in beta-glucans, which can act as immunomodulators. These beta-glucans can help the body boost immune function and adapt to environmental stress (read: adaptogens!).

The beta-glucans found in Lion's Mane mushroom are known to cross the blood-brain barrier and act as a nootropic, increasing cognition and focus.

Wonder Coffee comes in two options:

1. With Collagen Peptides from grass-fed cows. This is not a vegan option.

2. VEGAN: With Tremella mushroom + MCTs. This is a vegan option and it also contains a coconut based MCT oil powder.

Allergens:

There is no dairy, grains or gluten in Wonder Coffee. All ingredients are tested to be gluten free.

However we don't yet test for trace amounts in our final blend which are made in facilities that may process tree nuts and gluten.

The vegan option with tremella does contain tree nuts (coconut).

Occasionally people experience allergies to mushrooms, but it is rare. If you have any concerns with allergies, please talk to your physician.
